To my sparkle lovers, dopamine chasers, and whimsy finders,
Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or only discovered my work recently, thank you for supporting this little business over the past six years. Every order, kind message, social media share, conversation at a craft fair, and recommendation to a friend has meant more to me than I can properly express.
Many of you have noticed that I haven’t been releasing new products recently, and I wanted to explain what’s going on.
Earlier this year, I started full-time employment, and while I’m incredibly grateful for the stability that brings, it also means I no longer have the time and mental energy needed to run this business the way I would like to. Creating products, managing inventory, packing orders, attending events, updating the website, and handling all the behind-the-scenes work takes a lot of effort, and right now I simply can’t give it the attention it deserves.
Because of that, I’m stepping away from creating new products and taking custom orders for the foreseeable future.
One of the greatest joys of running this business has been hearing your stories, ideas, and dreams, then turning them into pieces of jewellery you’d always imagined but could never quite find on the high street. It’s been a privilege to play a small part in helping people reconnect with the things they love, embrace their inner child, and express themselves in a way that feels authentic, without having to settle for the same beige, mass-produced options found everywhere else.
While I don’t currently have plans to reopen custom orders, I’m not closing the door on the possibility forever. If life allows more space for creativity in the future, I’d love to revisit it.
That said, this isn’t a complete goodbye.
I’ll still be fulfilling orders for products that are listed on the website, and I’ll continue attending the occasional craft fair when time allows. In fact, I have hundreds of products sitting in boxes that need to find new homes. As I work through clearing out old stock, I’ll be adding items to the website whenever I get the chance.
Everything listed is one of a kind, so once an item sells, it won’t be restocked. If you’ve had your eye on something, don’t wait too long.
Most importantly, I want to thank everyone who has supported this journey over the last six years. What started as a creative hobby became something far bigger than I ever expected. Seeing people connect with my work, wear them proudly to festivals, give it as gifts, and share their excitement with me has been incredibly rewarding.
I’ve always hoped that the things I made could bring a little bit of joy into people’s lives and perhaps help them reconnect with the things they loved as children that we tend to overlook as adults – tactility, colour, whimsy, unapologetic joy. If my work helped you rediscover even a small piece of your inner child, then I consider that a success.
Thank you for being part of this journey. I truly appreciate every one of you, and I hope you’ll stick around as I continue clearing out the shelves and sharing the occasional new old treasure I uncover.
